Established in 1966 under Majlis Amanah Rakyat Act 1966 to spearhead the fields of entrepreneurship, education, and invesment to enhance equity holding of Bumiputra and to promote, stimulate, facilitate and undertake economic and social development in Malaysia and more particularly in the rural areas.
